Attendance
For you to gain the greatest benefit from your education, good attendance is necessary. Going to school regularly is important to your future. For example, students who miss school frequently can fall behind with their work and do less well in exams. Arranging appointments and outings after school hours, at weekends or during school holidays will help to prevent disruption to your education at JRCS. Under normal circumstances, you should not expect the school to agree to your child going on holiday during term time.
Well done to the 35 students who attended 100% last year and to the 4 forms 8A, 8B, 8C and 8G who had 100% attendance from every student in the form for a whole week.

Enrico Delves visits J.R.C.S!!
On Monday 10th October, Songwriter and singer Enrico Delves visited our school! With his band and backing singers, Julie and Demi, he performed 3 songs that he had written himself. His two friends both performed stunning solos which had us all cheering. Enrico is very successful despite his tragic past; he has opened for the MOBO awards and a group called N-Dubz, he has a music video on YouTube and now he even has a single out! Thanks to teaching from Mr. Jenner, Enrico has become an amazing vocalist and I am sure to soon be as popular as his idol Michael Jackson. Good Luck Enrico!
